Investiture Ceremony at St. Francis of Assisi School

The Investiture Ceremony at St. Francis of Assisi School was held with great enthusiasm and pride. The event marked the official induction of the newly elected student cabinet for the academic year. The ceremony began with a warm welcome extended to the distinguished guests – President of the Ceremony, Rev. Fr. Robin Victor D’Souza, and Guests of Honour, Rev Fr. Vijesh Menezes and Rev Fr. Maxim Dsilva.
To honour our guests and uphold the value of nurturing nature, they were welcomed with saplings. This was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, signifying the dispelling of darkness and the beginning of a bright journey ahead.
The highlight of the event was the oath-taking ceremony, where the newly elected cabinet members took a solemn pledge to serve with commitment, honesty, and integrity.
The Students Inducted in the School Cabinet are:
• Head Boy: Mast. Yuvraj Pratap Singh - Class VI
• Head Girl: Miss Angela Singh - Class VI
• Band Commander- Miss Nandini Yadav - Class VI
The school Principal addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of leadership and responsibility in student life. This was followed by inspiring words from Rev Fr. Robin D’Souza, who congratulated the young leaders and encouraged them to lead by example.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, staff, and students. The ceremony ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.
